Our instructors all have diverse training, experiences, and professional backgrounds from which they draw inspiration for their classes. Each one is infused with its own sequencing, mood, and tone depending upon the teacher and is a unique expression of yoga. Try them all for a well-balanced practice!
Gentle - A therapeutically-oriented blend of gentle and restorative postures suitable for beginners, those with special needs or those simply looking to take it slow. Pace is relaxed and props are used to support the body in postures.
Yin Yoga - With Yin we create a gentle traction of the connective tissue as we focus and breathe. Yin is also an exercise in awareness, in learning to relax and be still. We will address local areas in a pose to induce a central response, one of relaxation.
Level I - Designed with the beginner yogi in mind, whether you're just stepping onto your mat for the first time or simply craving a step-by-step review of the basics. The intention of these classes is to make the practice accessible to everyone while building a strong foundation in the fundamentals of postures, breathing and alignment.
Level II - Poses are held longer and explored in greater depth and detail. You will learn poses that require more strength and be introduced to basic arm balances, inversions, and full back bends. You will also work with the bandhas and more advanced breath practices. At this level, we assume you can read your body and practice within your own limits while approaching the more complicated poses in a safe way.
Level III - Involves a faster, fluid pace and introduces more challenging, athletic postures as breath is linked with movement. Prior yoga experience is strongly recommended.

A Note About Class Registration...
We highly recommend signing in for classes ahead of time. The capacity of our space is approximately 18 people. In the event a class reaches capacity, unregistered students will be required to wait on standby until all registered students have arrived. Priority is given to pre-registered students, wait list students, and then walk-ins. You can pre-register by using the scheduling widget above, or by downloading the MindBody Connect app to your smartphone.
If you are pre-registered for a class, please put away your belongings and proceed to setting up your space when you arrive at the studio. Return to the front desk at your convenience to sign in on the paper sheet, just in case the desk staff did not see you arrive.
If you are not pre-registered for a class, please proceed straight to the front desk to check in.
We are always monitoring class attendance, evaluating our schedule, and doing our best to meet the
needs of our students in a way that’s consistent with our values and our vision. If any class consistently acquires a waiting list we will certainly look at expanding our current offerings.
